Participant Cost for the ELMI

The cost of the Institute per participant is $2,850.  A $100 discount is available for those from institutions which are members of WACUBO.  The cost includes tuition, all instructional materials, a single residence hall room, and meals from lunch on Friday, August 1 through breakfast on Friday, August 8.  Transportation costs to and from Stanford are not included.

Application Process for the ELMI

We welcome your application for 2008.  To apply, please send an e-mail to whpickens@aol.com and include your name, position title, campus or agency, office address, telephone, and e-mail address.  Also, attach a description of responsibilities for your current position (a resume is fine if these are included) and the names of two individuals on campus who currently know you well.   We will communicate with you within ten business days after your applying. 

Applications will be processed in order, but completed applications must be received by June 6, 2008.  Those received after that date will be accepted on a space available basis.  Two applicants from the same campus will be enrolled until June 6, with additional applicants from that same campus enrolled on a space available basis after that date. 

Payment of Fees

Refund Policy

Refunds will be given to registrants who submit a written request 30 days prior to the ELMI, but a $50 administration fee will be charged.  Substitutions are allowed at any time with no charge.  A cancellation between 15 and 30 calendar days prior to the Institute will be allowed, but is subject to a $500 charge.
