About Introduction to Higher Education:

Professionals new to higher education or with little exposure or experience in issues and skills as they apply to Higher Education will benefit from this workshop. This includes anyone wanting to enhance their knowledge of the system, processes, and stewardship. Explore and understand concepts: shared governance, academic freedom, private/public institutions, role of the Board of Trustees/Regents, higher ed ethics, auditing, grants and contracts.

About Higher Education Budgeting Basics: Concepts, Creation, and Connections:

Understanding academic institutions budget processes can be challenging. Demystify the experience through case studies and discussions. This class is for those who need basic budgeting concepts. Attend this interactive workshop to gain budget competency, understand the relationship between accounting and budgets, and develop useful skills in connecting budgets to missions & goals.
