As part of WACUBO's ongoing commitment to professional development, we are a member of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors!

WACUBO's inclusion in this registry means that units offered through participation in WACUBO programs, including BMI, meet the standards set forth by such professional organizations as the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), among others.

This approval recognizes the high level of quality of WACUBO's programming. Members that have attained, or are working to attain, professional designations such as: CPA, CIA, CFA, CFE, CMA, will have the opportunity to accumulate CPE's through WACUBO BMI's badge scanning process onsite.

There are courses that may apply to other certifications, such as those available through Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).  Badges will be scanned for these courses and you will receive a record of your attendance.  However, since WACUBO is not registered to automatically submit CPEs to SHRM, you will need to self-report your record of attendance to the certifying organization.

The Western Association of College and University Business Officers (WACUBO) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), as a Quality Assurance Service sponsor of continuing professional education. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding QAS program sponsors may be submitted to NASBA through its website.
