BMI 70th Anniversary Alumni Celebration

Join fellow BMI alumni for a special two‑day celebration honoring 70 years of the Business Management Institute - a milestone that reflects decades of leadership development, professional growth, and community across higher education business and finance.

Hosted on the beautiful University of California, Santa Barbara campus, this anniversary gathering begins late afternoon of Sunday, August 2, and continues through the BMI Welcome Reception on Monday, August 3. The celebration blends meaningful reconnection with opportunities to engage in the forward‑looking spirit that defines BMI.

What to Expect

  • Reconnect with your cohort and build new relationships with alumni from across the decades at the exclusive Alumni Reception on Sunday night and inspire the next generation of leaders at the BMI 2026 Welcome Reception on Monday.

  • Participate in leadership and professional development sessions curated and inspired by BMI’s long‑standing commitment to growth and innovation.

  • Celebrate BMI’s 70‑year legacy during the BMI 2026 Welcome Reception, bringing together alumni, faculty, and the current BMI attendees.

Scholarships are available for the 2026 BMI. The application deadline is June 12, 2026.

WACUBO offers professional development scholarships to employees of WACUBO member institutions. These scholarships will go toward all or a portion of the registration fees of an annual conference, professional development workshop, or other WACUBO-sponsored professional development programs.

Scholarships DO NOT cover other expenses (e.g. travel incidentals, etc.).

The Western Association of College and University Business Officers (WACUBO) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
